mRNA vaccines will kill 3800 children by causing cardiac injury, to prevent 14 COVID-19 deaths in the US

The results of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trial for 5-11 year olds was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The FDA estimates (on pg.34) that you have to vaccinate a million children to prevent 1 COVID-19 death. To demonstrate with 95% confidence that the vaccine will kill fewer than the disease, you have to therefore include 3 million children in the treatment arm of the trial. The Pfizer trial included only about 1500 children. So even before they started, they should have known this study was a futile exercise.

Even worse? The Pfizer trial in adults shows the vaccine kills 3 people by causing cardiac arrest, to potentially prevent one COVID-19 death.

There are 28 million children in the 5-11 age group in the US. So, with a cardiac arrest death rate of 3/22000 seen in the adult trial, we can expect the vaccine will kill ~3800 children in the US (28M*3/22000 = 3818). With half the children already infected, we can expect to save 14 lives with this vaccine (28M/(2*1M) = 14).

Given these numbers, how does a study of this size offer any value?

On top of all this, there are questions about falsification of data in the Pfizer trial.
